Become a Radiation Response Volunteer

You don't need to be a healthcare professional or a radiation expert to become a Radiation Response Volunteer. Volunteers with a wide range of backgrounds add new skills that can help us accomplish our mission.

What our volunteers are saying...

"I joined RRVMRC because I wanted to become involved with a professional group of first responders to serve our community in the event of a disaster. More importantly, the  reason I stayed for this many years is because of the pure dedication of the other volunteers and the underlying importance of our mission."

       "Great team members. Great leadership."

"I was looking for an opportunity to volunteer that utilized my experience as an
engineer at Rocky Flats Environmental Technology facility.  After joining the
Boulder County MRC, I heard about the RRV MRC and decided it would be a
great fit.  The team members and training opportunities are fantastic."

"A lot has been accomplished and that feels great."

"It's rewarding to know we are moving in such a positive direction."

"Radiation Response Volunteers is a way to take the knowledge and experience
I’ve gained through a career of using radioisotopes in biomedical research and
put it to practical use in service to the community."
